REST IN PEACE…

There really aren’t words to express the feeling of losing someone as eternally talented as Whitney Houston. When the Associated Press broke the news a few hours ago and I watched as CNN’s Don Lemon confirmed the breaking news…as a life long fan, I immediately plunged into an ocean of profound sadness and I have been in that dark place ever since.  It’s just very hard to process that she is gone. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, especially her mother Cissy and of course her teenage daughter Bobbi Kristina at this very difficult time. It is one thing for the media to go ahead and have a field day with Whitney’s passing but it is quite another for the public to buy into whatever is being floated. Nicki Minaj looked stunning in the Oscar De La Renta gown of his spring 2012 ready to wear collection. The dress has been featured in some wedding gown websites, it is a gorgeous dress and Nicki looked amazing in it as well.

But unlike the runway show, she paired it with some killer Alexander McQueen armored heel pump that retails for ….!! $ 4,245. It is certainly a shoe well worthy to look at, but does not look as comfortable and ofcourse that will explain nicki’s wardrobe change to a pair of sneakers! we love her! she is so unique and makes her own trends. My first ever memory of fashion was a fashion show I saw of Gianni Versace. As a child I was put into a trance when I saw those colours mixed with the sheer glamour and luxury come down the runway. It was then that I knew I wanted to be a fashion designer. Now, so many years later, Versace is still my favourite design house, although many other have been added to my list. Donatella Versace has a great eye for dressing a woman’s body and it was evident on the runway. The thing with designer though, is that unless you have the money you can’t afford it. That’s why I’m over the moon that Versace joined together with H&M, finally I can afford at least one piece of Versace clothing. I’m sure it’ll be a lot more expensive than most clothing at H&M but it’s worth it, it’s…

Amber Rose, she is one woman that could make anything look good from head to toe, knowing me starting from shoes first headed up, I have no doubts why Kanye West fell for this woman the way he did. She was recently on the Wendy williams show, yesterday matter of fact and we say a classy, independent, vibrant woman who is clearly in love. She is a muse and an inspiration, dares to be exotic, chic and the *only woman really to rock a bald head!  I will post pics of her outfit on the show and show you ways to recreate it. will keep you posted.
